New theme…yay!

I felt like changing up the look of the old blogaroo and was SO excited to see this gorgeously funky theme available for free!! :)

Today went pretty well…I managed to unpack a few boxes of things that we brought back from the Nashville house, did a bit of cleaning, and some laundry. Chloe enjoyed playing with her friend Sophia…we had her here for 6 hours…nice long play date We are about to watch Fast Five, which I am looking forward too…I really like Vin Diesel and the Fast and Furious movies are always action packed! We watched Super 8 last night – Abby and I liked it, but Tim and Josh didn’t care for it much.

Anyhoo, time to skidaddle and get Chloe ready for bed…I’m outtie!

I meant to post something earlier but forgot until just now while I was trying to fall asleep Resolutions and new plans for this blog are coming soon! Just a few resolutions, so far…

1. Be more patient with my family…especially my kids.
2. Exercise weekly…Mon. – Fri. when possible.
3. Eat healthier…more veggies for sure!
4. Blog more…I want to record what happens this year…I’m not sure why I stopped blogging so many years back! It is always fun to go back through and read about what our family was up to back then…I miss that

K, that’s it for now…I need to get some sleep…I’m babysitting one of Chloe’s friends tomorrow

My sweet little Chloe is turning five years old today!! It is both a happy and a little sad…sad because I cannot believe five years have gone by already! *sigh* I am not totally surprised though…knowing that she would probably be my last baby, I tried so hard that first year to spend as much time enjoying her and each phase she went through, hoping that time would pass more slowly…of course, it did not Okay, happier thoughts now…lol I am about to take Josh to school (Abby is still sick with a head cold), then this morning Chloe and I are going to make her cake together and decorate it, then Tim and I are going to take her to the Frist Museum of Art so she can play in the kid area there She had a fun “sleepover” in Abby’s room last night…they stayed up later than they were supposed to while giggling and chatting away…it is adorable that a 14 year old and an “about to be 5 year old” can do that together

Alrighty, I better skidaddle…I’ll post about new products and schtuff later

New A Little Whimsy at The Digi Chick :)

I added more elements and some solids to my A Little Whimsy mini-kit to turn it into a regular kit

I’m excited to report that we found a new home for Froop-a-Loop, our 5 month old girl kitten!! She’d been living in a cage for a few weeks due to her being in heat and us not being able to get her in at the Humane Assoc. to get her fixed I was at my wits end with her when Abby decided to ask her friend Amber if she would take her and WOOHOO she said YES!!! It is a relief to know she is in a good home, and a relief to not have to have her in the cage anymore and to scoop that litter box

February is here already…eek! I still need to figure out what I am going to do for V’day for my hubby and kiddos!

There have been a few changes over the past two months…one being that I closed Inspiration Lane 10 days ago, which is sad but I really am enjoying NOT having to do any site owner work! I’m still over at The Digi Chick, and I will be putting products up at Jen Yurko’s store eventually For any of you who miss the IL forum, feel free to head over to Jen’s forum to hang out with us there! <3

Jen and I created a new kit as JenN {squared} called fun-a-delic and I have three new products that debuted a week ago…

Alrighty, I guess I should scoot…it’s about time to start breakfast and everyone else is still asleep Yay for the weekend!!

The kiddos have started Fall Break today! They don’t go back to school until the 25th AND, I am so excited…our stray cat outside is finally getting spayed! She’s already had two litters of kittens and we have been hoping she wouldn’t get pregnant again before she stopped lactating. I had to drop her off at 7:30am this morning and will pick her up at 3pm. The kids and I are going to put Daisy’s (the doggy we used to own) old kennel together today so she can live in there for two weeks while she heals
